In this film, the sixth and final film in the Church: A Community Called for the Future series, Andy Doyle considers what it means for us to be members of a community engaged in the act of Kingdom building. For Doyle, this building requires us to confront our nature as human beings to organize, limit, define, cleanse, and contain. It is an uncomfortable, messy process, but we are called into our discomfort to discover God’s true intentions. If we are brave in our endeavors, we just might discover God’s true gift to us: the privilege of a joyful community in that Kingdom building.
Spaces of grace are environments where safety, trust, and love create the conditions for transformation.
Wholeness emerges when we embrace life’s tensions with love and compassion.
In uncertain times, hope is sustained through small, faithful practices.
