Bob Rognlien is lead pastor at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Bob has a passion for seeing people’s lives changed by God’s grace through discipling relationships and empowered for mission in community beyond the walls of the church. Bob loves spending time with his family, hanging out with friends, reading, watching movies, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation (especially on a surfboard, a sailboat, or with a backpack!). He and his wife Pam are proud of their two grown sons, Bobby and Luke, and their lovely daughter-in-law, Amy. Bob was born in Montana, lived overseas as a kid, but grew up mostly in a rural area east of Seattle. He has studied at Pacific Lutheran University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Ecole Biblique et Archeologique, Hebrew University, and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. Bob was called to serve as Lead Pastor of Good Shepherd in the fall of 1998. Previously he served Lutheran congregations in Northern California, Jerusalem, and New Jersey.
